员工看待自己工作表现的方式因多种因素而异,但贾德•凯斯勒(Judd Kessler)只把目光放在了一个方面:性别。

凯斯勒说:“我们在有关性别和经济的文献中发现,很多与工作相关的行为存在性别差异。”“We thought one of the areas that had not been explored, but we think is very important for work settings, is how women and men describe their work performance or (how they rate) how good they are at their jobs in either performance reviews or in casual conversations with colleagues or superiors. 我们想看看在自我推销方面是否存在性别差异的证据。
